Busy Gwinnett County intersection reopens after crews repair broken water main

Norcross, GA (CBS46) A water main break that opened up a huge sinkhole that shut down a busy Gwinnett County intersection for over 24 hours has been repaired and the roadway is back open.

The intersection of Indian Trail Road and Brook Hollow Parkway was blocked as crews worked to repair the broken main.

As many as 10 businesses in the area were initially without water service but no residents were affected.

It’s unclear what caused the main break.

The roadway reopened around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
